ABSTRACT DESIGN INFORMATION SYSTEM SUPPORTING THE DECISION TO REGISTRATION SELECTION A SPECIAL DORM AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ADVENTISTS INDONESIA USES THE METHOD SAW Zefanya Gibson Lumbantobing NIM:1482010 Decision support systems are generally created to solve problems and support in decision making, UNAI provides several types of dormitories in every semester, the special dorm is the cheapest one, so that it is highly requested by students. Vice president for student affair therefore often have difficulties in deciding the rightful residents in the Special Dorm. The purpose of this research is to design a system that can help decision-making for students who are eligible to live in The Special Dorm as well as making a report of decision result. The method used in this research is System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The result of this research is a decision support system using Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method that help to selecting students for The Special Dorm. Further, this reseacrh can be developed by using other methods, for more effective decision making. Keywords: Decision Support System, A method of simple additive weighting (SAW)
