The research object is PT. Axis Senral optik, Jakarta which is a commercial optical company, located in JI. Suryopranoto No.l Block A"/20,GambirJakarta Pusat. As for the purpose-oftjis rcsearches is to know how working capital and sales occured at PT. Axis Sentral Optik and know to how the corretation of working capital to company sales. The method applied by the researcher is descriptive method, that is collecting data based on faith and analysed.data obtained from result of documentation in the form of financial report. The working capital fiom yeat 2002 to 2007 is state (except the year 20M)' The higheworking capital is n year 2007 equal to Rp. 567.542.372, while the low working capital is the year 2UJ.2 equal to Rp27 I .525 .779. As for sales, it is flucktuation. The highest sales is in the year 2007 that is Rp. 1.987.975.000 while dre low sales is in the year 2005 that is Rp.l.512.275'000 Based on statistical of correlation coefficient, (rF - 0.0114 meaning there is an inverse telaton between working capitals to sales, that is every incrcase of working capital there will decrease is working capital will be an increase in is sales, while significance test (t - calculated value 0.02 < i- critical value = 2.132) or t count = - 0.02 , t-table = -2.132 wi6r level of confidence of 95o/o and degree of fieedom (n-2), it means, drat therc is no significant relation ship between variable x (working capital) with variable y (sales)'
