ABSTRACT DESIGN OF PLANTING REPORTING SYSTEM AND AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS IN WEST BANDUNG DISTRICT BASED ON ANDROID Kristanto Andreas Sakul NIM: 1481004 The development of smartphones today is increasing rapidly and keep increasing. Smartphones have become a necessity for the community, this is because smartphones directly in touch with the owner, faster, easier, and has many features. Planting reporting activity in West Bandung District by farmers is still done conventionally. The solution offered is to design a system that can be the information needs of farmers to the West Bandung District Government in reporting the crops and harvests. The purpose of this study is 1) Can provide information on what commodities should be planted by farmers in the area of West Bandung regency. 2) Can help local government of West Bandung regency and farmers to do even planting of a commodity. 3) Can help Local Government of West Bandung regency to do the price equalization of harvest of a commodity. Design method of the application used by author was SDLC (System Development Life Cycle). From the results, the author can draw conclusions are 1) This agricultural reporting system can be applied to mobile applications. 2) This application can be used by user to login, register, input and see report crop, input and see report result, see planting statistic, report and price, and see price prediction. 3) Applications built to improve the performance of farmers in sending data to the agricultural department of agriculture West Bandung regency. To further refine this research, in the future there is a feature notification a few days before the harvest time, and features to display and edit information from the user profile.
