ABSTRACT THE DEVELOPMENT OF E-VOTING SYSTEM IN UNAI Patrick S.P Simalango NIM: 1381033 Using an e-voting system to vote is still rarely used in the community Based on what the writer had observed, the e-voting system has been introduced to children through education at school. E-voting system is very useful and helpful once implemented. The system is not only used in the government, but can also be used in events such as voting in campus. For example in Universitas Advent Indonesia, The system can be implemented when electing student council officers and other organizations in UNAI. It is positive that an e-voting system will help elections, using computers or smartphones the e-voting systems will quicken the process of calculating accurate result. Based on the summary above, the writer wishes to conduct a research entitled “The Development of E-voting System in UNAI”. There are 2 purposes of this research: 1) To quicken the process of calculating results. 2) Make voting easier through networks. The research method used is the waterfall model. Will this e-voting system it is expected to help Universitas Advent Indonesia elections. The writer hopes the system will be further developed for the security.
