ABSTRAC There are some problems in the office of Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) Bandung. One of them is when it comes to informing the implementation schedule of blood donation to prospective donors who should perform a routine blood donor activity. In this case the donor has completed blood donation, but they do not know the next schedule to donate blood because there are not enough information given by the PMI Bandung office. Therefore the visit of prospective blood donors to PMI Bandung office is minimal, resulting in insufficient blood supply every month. Research conducted at PMI Bandung. This study aims to (1) Establish a system to replace the manual card to provide further donor schedule to the prospective donors, (2) Build a website to attract people who have never donated blood by presenting information about the activities organized by PMI Bandung, (3) Build a system that can provide information about important announcements, information of a routine blood donors schedule, information about the blood stocks, and also activities to be held by the PMI Bandung via SMS Gateway system. Research methods used include: interviews with the PMI Bandung’s staff, observation of documents or data from PMI, and also literature research methods to find the necessary data from the book relating to the problem. Based on the information system design of this web-based SMS notification, it may take some conclusions as follows, (1) The PMI's blood donors information system designed to display information of the blood donors activity at PMI Bandung, (2) The PMI's blood donors information system designed to help to attract prospective donors on PMI Bandung via online registration, (3) The PMI's blood donors information system designed to send information to donors and prospective donors of PMI Bandung.
