PERBANDINGAN AKTTVITAS ANTIINFLAMASI EKSTRAK ETANOL DAUN SUKUN (Artocarpus altilis Fosberg) DAN EKSTRAK ETANOL DAUN STROBERI (Fragaria x ananassa Duch.) SERTA CAMPURANNYA PADA TIKUS PUTIH JANTAN GALUR WISTAR YANG DIINDUKSI EDEMA MENGGUNAKAN PHI-KARAGENAN

A Research entitled, "COMPARISON OF THE ANTIINFLAMATION ACTIVITY OF BREAD-FRUIT ETIIANOL EXTRACT (Artocarpus altilis Fosberg), and STRAWBERRy. LEAF ETIIANOL EXTRACT lFragaria x ananiusa DUcIT} AND ITS COMBINATION TOWARD ITHITE MALE WISTAR STRAIN RATS INDUCED TOITARD WHITE MALE STRAIN WISTAR RAT INDUCED WITH EODEMA BY I-CARRAGEENAN'' HAS BEEN MADE The objective of this study is to see the dntiinllamatian activity of seven treatment groups which is control, ethanol extract of bread-fruit leaf dose 100 mg/kg BB, ethanol extract of bread-fruit leaf dose 500 mg/kg BB, ethanol extract of srrawberry leaf dose 100 ng/kg BB, ethanol extract of strawberry leaf dose 500 mg/kg BB, ethanol extract mix of bread-fruit leaf and strawberry leaf dose 100 mg/kg BB, ethanol extract nix of bread-fruit leaf and strdwberry leof dose 500 mg/kg BB which toward white male strain rats that has been induced with 1- carrageenan lhat causes eodema. This experiment is a laboratory experimental research using 2l white rats male strain wistar that had been devided into seven groups. Extract treolment \ras given once by orally, one hour before the induction of eodema by )"-carrageenan. The inJlamotion is measured one hour before the induction of )-carrageenan, one hour after the induction, and so on until 25 hours. Results of the measurement analyzed with Univariate ANOVA and Multivariate ANOVA and if lhe difference is significant il is continued with Duncan. The results showed that each lreated group has a signiJicant dntiinllammation ffict (a: 0.000). The Duncan statistical analysis shows that 500 mg/kg BB of the etanol extract mix of bread-fiuit and sfiosberry leoves has the most significant antiinJlammotion eflecL followed by 500 mg/kg BB etanol extract of bread-fruit leaf. This statistical analysis also shows thqt there is a signiJicant difference in the variation of time (a: 0.000). h shows that the antiinllommation activity works most in the second hour and is continually decreased until the 25'h hour.
