PERANCANGAN BASIS DATA GAMBAR PADA SISTEM PENDAFTARAN UNIVERSITAS ADVENT INDONESIA BERBASIS PHP

ABSTRACT Adventist university of indonesia is a campus with image regiastration system. The students are required to be able to submit the onginal documents of STTB and SKHU, and Baptism Document (For adventist) which is a disadvantage if any of these documents unpurposely damaged. Therefore, author has developed a system called'Scanning Image Application wrth Web by Scanner'. Scanner is a device that can tum an image into digital image. The design that has been done by author is buliding the application using The programing language of P[IP, Javaxcript, MySQL database by using TWAIN plug-in and operated in XAMPP localhost. The prochedure that has been designed by author is Students submit STTB, SKHU, and Baptism documents to Administration department (BAA) so they can scan the image using the scanner, enter the information of image documents and the save the image document. When the application is run, thjs application can save data to MySQL database that was created. Therefore, author hopes that in the future the system will developed so in the scanning process, the scannner can directly reads the information of image documents.
