ABSTRACT WEB-BASED ONLINE PRINTING SYSTEM DESIGN IN UNIVERSITAS ADVENT INDONESIA DANIEL DJAWA NIM: 1381023 Many students in Universitas Advent Indonesia who live in dormitory should asking permission for the Head dormitory and the security to walk outside the ccampus just for printing their papers. Based on that problem the writer wants to buiild an online printing application system at Universitas Advent Indonesia. The purpose of the study are to design online printing system, design the how to save the data received, to design the confirmation Gateway message for user. The research method that is used in this research is literature review, design system, configuration and testing. Information system after using online printing system is sent to user using gateway message. The conclution of the research is online printing system have been made and implemented, oline printing system is able to save the data of student, staff, and lecture. Online printing system is able to send the accuracy notification to confirm by the user using gateway message. The suggestion of this research is the payment calulation of the system is not doing well so it is counting manually. That is why, the system is need to be extended to be integrated with the students billing system. Keywords: Gateway Message, Online Printing, Web, Database, Dormitory
