PENGARUH MODAL KERJA TERHADAP TINGKAT PROFITABILITAS PADA PT. ULTRAJAYA MILK INDUSTRY & TRADING COMPANY TbK

The purpose of this research is to know the increase of working capital, the increase of profitability level, and the influence working capital to company profitability level at PT. Ultrajaya Milk Industry & Trading Company Tbk Research method used in this research is descriptive methods, where data collected by the real condition, analyzing, presenting the data to obtain a conclusion. The data colleted was analyzed using linier regression analysis, correlaton coe{ficient, hypotesis test, and coefficient ol determination to obtain the relationship between the two varibles. Based on the result or this research known that the highest total of net working capital from 2004-2012 is obtained in 2012 amounted to Rp. 603,604,0-I4,'|OO and the lowest total is obtained in 2006 amounted to Rp. 65,667,423,325. The highest total of profitability tevel used Relurn on Assel is obtained in 2008 amounted to 17 .67yo and the lowest total is obtained in 2004 amounted to 0.34%o Based on statistical analysis, the correlation analysis r = 0.597, the conelation between working capital and profitability level are medium and positive. Based on hypothesis analysis is known t r"sr" = 1.895 and t -,m: 1.966, where t count > tt.bte means that there is significant positive correlation between working capital with profitabitity level. The amount of determination coefficie nt : 35.60/o means that is contributed of working capital to profitability level is 35.67o and the remaining 64.4%o caused by other factors outside ofthis research. Based on linier regression equation isY : -2.192 + 2.313E-l lX which the profitability level is negatif at - 2.192%o if the net working capital is not exist.
