PENGARUH STRES KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA PERAWAT DI RUMAH SAKIT ADVENT BANDUNG

ABSTRACT Stress is a condilion of tension which afects the emotion, thinking process and condition of an individual which further affects job performance. Nurses are importanl resources of a healthcare organization including Bandung Adventist Hospital, for vhich they are not detached from factors that affect their occupational stress namely: workload, influence of superiors, resources, conflict and wages. The objective of lhis study is to idenlifi how occupotional stress affects the job performance of nurses in Bandung Adventist Hospital. Analyic and inferensial study was used in this study. Population in this study consist of all the nurses in Bandung Adventist Hospital wilh a sample of 150 individuols. Data in this study was obtained by the distribution of questionnoiers and arwlyzed using pearson correlation and linear regression with level of confidence at 95o/o (c=0,0s). The statistical atwlysis shows that there is no significant relationship between worHoad (0,460/0), resources (0,11%"), conJlict (0,14%0) and wages (2,50%o) toward job performance. Furthermore, there is a sigaficant relatiorchip b e tw e e n supe rio r s infl ue nc e of s upe r io rs to w ards j o b pe rfo rmanc e (2, 6 5 %o). It is suggested that the manajement of Bandung Adventist Hospital to increase interaction with the nurses which aims lo build a friendly work atmosphere through advisory and supporl. For future study, il is advised to have additional variables and include population from other hospitals.
