Hutabarat, MA, MDiv, PhD. Date Completed: l5 April 2009 There are various kind of evangelism theory. in fact many of them break the Biblical principles. Many times the quantity is considered as more important than quality. It is true that in Church Grouth the quantity is important but actualy the quality is more impo(ant than that of quantity. The natural Church GroMh Focuses on the developing the potential which God has planted in the body of Christ. The true evangelism is based on the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:I8-20 "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name ofthe Father, and ofthe Son, and ofthe Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." These words always being heard whenever personal evangelism seminar being held(KJV). We may read the reality of this natural Biblical evangelism in Acts 2:42- 47 thal the early church elevaled the character of Christ in every aspect oftheir life. Whenever Christ was being elevated, than the Holy Spirit gives teslimony in the heart of man than Christ will draw the people to him. In Verses 4l and 4'7 there is in fact quantity growth but if we traced the meaning of the word "added" in Greek is zpoorrrrlepr (prostithemi) which means " a gift''. It is something which we receive as a gift and not something lhat we achieve bu our effort or deeds. Therefore the natural evangelism is focused on Christ Method u,here we Iet Him work in our life to shine His light, so that the world may see Christ in our life and bring mana people to Him.
