PT. Asuransi Jiwa Sinarmas in Jakart4 is an Insurance Company that offers health insurance to the society, so that its clients' health./medication expenses will be paid by Sinarmas according to the terms that has been approved by both parties (the client & PT. Asuransi Jiwa Sinarmas). The writer's aim in making a field study at this corDpany is to compare the archieving process which had been taught at the University with the actual process of archieving at PT.Asuransi Jiwa Sinarmas. The archieving process in the Claim Departnent at PT.Asuransi Jiwa Sinarmas is using the computerized system & scanner. So while working at the company, the writer worked using those systems. Thus, archiving has an important role in data keeping at PT.Asuransi Jiwa Sinarmas, and the system of archiving at the company is considered good & gives a positive influence for the company. a
