In connecting the mobile phone / cell phone with a microcontroller to be used as a remote control device required an interface that can synckonize the two devices so that they can exchange data. System interface in this research utilizes data port phones communication lines contained in the bottom of the phone to be able to communicate with the microcontroller serial. In the serial communication there are two main things that need to be adjusted is the level of voltage and speed data rate (baud rate), after the second it is adjusted so the two devices can communicate so that this tool can be used as a remote control device. This tool is made by using a micro controller as the main module that will read incoming SMS to a mobile phone as a command in the control to be realized in the form of micro-, and ordered the phone to send SMS to mobile sender replies status as the output. Criteria devices that can be used is a phone that has a data cable specifications that are connected in series by means of control. As for the controller can use any mobile phone with SMS facility. This tool is also expected to monitor the state of the Iamp alive or dead. Brand mobile phone is used in this srudy is the Blackberry storm 2. systems are systems that use serial communication between the microcontroller ATMegal64 mobile phone.
