Nowadays web applications grow quite rapidly in line with system access and authentication for web applications that also helped develop. Most applications still use the system authentication of the application system, thereby to authenticate on a different web application done separately. ln this research the author discusses the desigr and implementation of the system of Single Sign On (SSO) based Central Authentication Service (CAS) and Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) at Adventist Univenity of Indonesia (I-INAI). The purpose of this research is to incorporate into a web application authentication system that is integra.ted. So that a separate application in the authentication will be integrated using the SSO method, so each use.r can have one account that is one usemame and one password to access the web application is already integrated with the SSO on the network. This means that just by logging in just once then it can use all the applications that integrate with the SSO. Designing and implementing SSO applications use CAS (Central Authentication System) and the database used was LDAP. CAS authentication is used to bridge between differcnt web applications, and LDAP is used as a user database, wherc all user data that is used to log on the CAS stored in LDAP. Desigrring and implementing SSO enough has many benefits forusers who access the web application, with the advantages offered by SSO simplifu user access and authentication in web applications. SSO system hrs b€en tested on a web application in LINAI. SSO system that has been integraled in web applications has been going well. However, security for client-server communication more secure to use a trusted certificate. Expected for futttre research in UNAI all web application integrated with SSO system.
