ABSTRACT THE ROLE OF ENGLISH WEBTOON THROUGH PREVIEW, QUESTION, READ, SUMMARY, AND TEST (PQRST) IN ENHANCING STUDENTS’ READING COMPREHENSION Yohanna Windia Sari ID 1521029 The purpose of this study is to find out the role of English webtoon through PQRST in enhancing students’ reading comprehension. The respondents of this study, major in natural science, were grade X section A and grade X section C students of Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Parongpong. There were 35 sudents for each classes. One class was called the control group and the other was called the experimental group. The control group was taught using conventional method while the experimental group was taught using English webtoon through PQRST. This study employed quantitative research method and experimental design. This study was designed to find out the answer of the following questions: “Does students’ reading comprehension improve after being taught using English webtoon through PQRST? Is there any significant difference on students’ reading comprehension between control and experimental group?” The result of this study revealed that both groups attained improvement in their reading comprehension.
