The purpose of this study was conducted to determine the procedures for the purchasing of raw material inventory, to determine the effectiveness of achieving raw material invetrtory, and to determine the influence of pruchasing raw material inventory of raw marcrials inventory effectiveness at PT. Sunrise Brrmi Textile, Bekasi- Research method used is descriptive, where data are collected based on achral conditions, then processed, aaalyzed and finally concluded. Dala were collected by interviews, shrdy documentation, and through questionrtaires. Data obtained througf, interviews and docrrmenation studies processed qualitative. Data obtained through surveys. (questionnaires) are processed by statistical "nalysis of the Spearman rank correlation coefficient analysis, hypothesis testing and analysis of the coefficient of determination. Purchasing of raw materials made to order, after an order fiom a customer received by sales marketing. Sales marketing contact and Financial Manager of commercial production approves the order. Then call the production of raw marcrial purchase to contact the officer. P,rchasing ofEcer ordered the raw materials to supiliers using purchase orden. Srrypliers send raw materials ordered and received the raw material invoices and delivery receipt. Then the raw material invoices and a letter ale handed to tbe accoutrtant to record in a jo,rnal book materials itrventory and debt. Raw material depatment make a report in the daily raw material stock position to be reported to the production ofthe goods which are ready to be processed- Achieving effectiveness of purchasing of raw material inventory in the year 200g is generally effective at 100.7o/o although there are a few months under the 100% effectiveness, 6ere are 6e matter of F;bruary, May, June. But stocks monthly supply in July showed the number of raw materiars that are not effective, na e*ceiealii, tolerance limit set by the company, it was caused by Supplier not able to provide in accordmce with the order. Because the supplier has ihe raw material tucksonly kind (Iarge size) then the order does not fit in-the ruck and lgs5 rhan I to 2 fiu;ks, it delayed delivery. For count I freight truck. order arrived late because of ruck broke down while on the load.
