PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THE POWER OF TWO (TPOT) DAN THINK TALK WRITE (TTW)
XMLABSTRACT THE IMPROVEMENT ON MATHEMATICAL CONCEPT COMPREHENSION THROUGH THE POWER OF TWO (TPOT) AND THINK TALK WRITE (TTW) COOPERATIVE LEARNING Meti Tambunan Nim : 1422010 This research aims to improve students’ comprehension on mathematical concept. This research is comparative design, applying two cooperative learning models, The Power Of Two (TPOT) and Think Talk Write (TTW). The samples were two class of VII SMPN 3 Lembang, West Bandung. The instruments were test of mathematical concept comprehension subject of Social Arithmetic in essay form and student’s response questionnaire. Statistical test used is description, normality, homogeneity, and test of difference of two mean at significant level 0,05. The results of this research are the (1) improvement of mathematical concept comprehension’s both classes is in the moderate level, (2) there is no significant difference in improvement of mathematical concept comprehension ability between The Power Of Two (TPOT and Think Talk Write (TTW), (3) In The Power Of Two (TPOT), students show more interest in learning and In Think Talk Write (TTW) students show moderate interest in learning.
