ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF GOOD CORPORATE GOVERNANCE (GCG) AND PROFITABILITY TOWARD DIVIDEND POLICY IN COSMETIC AND HOUSEHOLD UTILITIES SUBSECTOR COMPANIES LISTED IN IDX Written by: Vanya Pintalit Aurora Sembiring Pelawi NIM: 1531004 The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Good Corporate Governance and Profitability on Dividend Policy on cosmetic and household utilities sub-sector companieslisted in the Indonesian Stock Exchange 2014-2017 both partially and simultaneously. The method used in this study is descriptive method using the ratio of the proportion of the Board of Commissioners, Return On Equity,Dividend Payout Ratio, descriptive statistical analysis, significance test, correlation test, determination test, classic assumption test, linear regression analysis. The results showed a significant influence between Good Corporate Governance and Dividend Policy which can be seen from the significance value of 0.000 <0.05 so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, there is a significant influence between Profitability and Dividend Policy with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 which means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, and there is a significant influence between Good Corporate Governance and Profitability on Dividend Policy with F count of 45,750 at a significant level of 0.000 <0.05 Keywords: Good Corporate Governance, Profitability, Dividend Policy
