ABSTRACT FAMILY SUPPORT ANALYSIS OF PRISONER MENTAL HEALTH CIAMIS POLICE PROVINCE WEST JAVA Disusun oleh : Nika Sundari NIM : 1751071 Undergoing detention in the detention house is one of the environmental stressors for prisoners and prisoners expecting support from the family. Family visits and support had a positive impact on the mental health of prisoners while in the detention house. The purpose of this study is to know the relationship between family support to the mental health of the Ciamis Polres prisoners. The study uses a descriptive correlation method. Samples in this study were Ciamis Polres prisoners as many as 23 people, sampling is done by the technique of total sampling. The study used the correlation test of Spearman's Rho. The results showed that most prisoners gained good family support (81.3), and most of the mental health prisoners gained a score (59) on a range of 14-70 values in a healthy range. The results of the correlation test Spearman's Rho showed a value of P = 0.043 < α = 0.05, r = 0.425, which means there is a family support relationship to the mental health of Ciamis Polres and has a moderate and direct relationship.
