Abstract FAMILY NURSING CARE MR. 0 WITH HYPERTENSION IN CIHANJUANG VILLAGE RT 03 RW 02 DISTRICT PARONGPONG, WEST BANDUNG This nursing care was motivated by the results found during the practice in RW 02 of Cihanjuang Village, where one of the clients had been suffering from hypertension which had been suffering for a long time. This condition causes Mr. O a little difficulty when doing activities if the disease recurs. The general goal of nursing care is to gain experience in applying the theories that have been obtained in conducting nursing care with hypertension problems The method used is a descriptive method that is an explanation or description of the observations with interview, observation and literature techniques. From the results of the study, it was found that Mr.O Suffered from hypertension long enough to make patients spend more time resting without doing much activity, on this occasion the authors wanted to apply modality therapy, namely drinking cucumber juice to help reduce hypertension suffered by clients for almost several years. Then do nursing care with a diagnosis of the inability of the family to understand about the illnesses experienced by family members, the inability of the family to care for members who are sick, and behavior that tends to be related to the family can not modify the environment. And after nursing care is found that the client and family are able to show progress and to follow nursing care procedures. The author's advice to nursing students in order to increase knowledge about nursing care for patients with hypertension ranging from assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. For nursing faculties to be able to provide more competent family nursing teaching to nursing students. Keywords : Hypertension.
