ABSTRACT “EVALUATION OF IMPLEMENTATION HOURLY ROUNDING IN WEST WINGS III / CEMPAKA I” Arranged by: Jesyca Prily Jersey, S.Kep 1953011 Background: Several hospitals in Indonesia compete in providing the best service to achieve patient satisfaction, one of which is by conducting quality hourly rounding. Hourly rounding is the process of visiting patients every hour by professional nurses to provide nursing care based on evidence. Aim: Writing of scientific papers is done to evaluate the implementation of (5P) hourly rounding by nurses in the West Wing III/ Cempaka I room at Adventist Hospital Bandung. Method: Writing is done by descriptive method in the form of case reports by collecting data through observations, interviews, documentation studied and literature studies. Results: Patient's evaluation of the (5P) hourly rounding in Cempaka I was done well and the patient was satisfied. This can be seen from the results of filling out the questioner which shows nurses doing more points 1, 3, 4, 8, 9 and 10. The results of the evaluation of nurses carrying out 5P found the average highest P1 value remained 100%, P3 and P5 out of 91% to 100%, P4 value from 50% to 100% and P2 lowest value from 28% to 100%. Obstacles that nurse’s experience in implementing (5P) hourly rounding is a lack of nurses working during one shift are not comparable to the nurses' workload. Suggestion: The author advises that nursing management pay direct attention to the implementation of (5P) hourly rounding, evaluate the constraints experienced during the implementation. The head nurse can give reward and motivation to nurses during the process of changing attitudes so they show a positive attitudes towards the implementation of (5P) hourly rounding to increase patient satisfaction.
