ABSTRACT NURSING CARE IN "H" MASTER: HEAD UP 300 WITH HEAD PAIN IN HEMORAGIC STROKE IN CEMPAKA I IN BANDUNG ADVENTIST HOSPITAL SENDRA YANI NOTTY NIM: 1953018 Headache is one of the problems that often arises in hemorrhagic stroke patients. Nonpharmacologic management that can be done is head up 300. Head up 300 improves venous drainage, cerebral perfusion, and decreases intracranial pressure. Head up 300 can reduce intracranial pressure through a number of ways, namely lowering blood pressure, changes in chest compliance, changes in ventilation, increasing venous flow through unsealed jugular veins, thereby reducing central venous blood volume which decreases intracranial pressure. The writing of this final scientific paper aims to determine the effectiveness of head up 300 to decrease the scale of headache due to hemorrhagic stroke in the host "H" in Cempaka I ward of Bandung Adventist Hospital. Writing is done by descriptive method by collecting data through the nursing process, namely assessment, nursing diagnosis, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Then documented in the form of case reports. The results of the study showed that patients complained of throbbing headaches on a scale of 8 (0-10), increased headache when sneezing, coughing or straining. Nursing diagnosis: head nteri. Nursing intervention is a head up 300. The intervention was implemented in the form of implementation of nursing for 3 days, then evaluated. Evaluation results show a decrease in pain scale with headache scale 4 (0-10). Suggestions for the field of nursing as an input in the management of stroke patients with headaches, to the field of research as material to be developed.
