ABSTRACT THEOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF SICK, SAVING, RAISE BASED ON JAMES 5: 14-16 SEVENTH DAY ADVENTISH CHURCH IN TAMAN WISMA ASRI BEKASI Jarisman T. Pasaribu NIM: 1611056 This research was conducted at the Taman Wisma Asri Seventh-day Adventist Church based on James 5:14, 15 which discussed about the notion of sick, saving and raise. This research has three indicators: (1) The meaning of sick; (2) the meaning of saving and (3) the meaning of raise in James 5:14, 15. This research was divided into two parts: theory and field. The results of theoretical research about the meaning of sick is concerning disease suffered by humans physically which can no longer be treated medically. Saving means healing physically and spiritually from the present situation or being saved when the second coming of Jesus. Raise refered to physical and spiritual healing when the person is sick, and will be raised when Jesus comes at the second time. The field research made by the author is about the respon of Wisma Asri church to the indicators above. The research at Wisma Asri Church through the questionnaire was distributed to 40 members of the church with the answers that all respondent were strongly understood about Meaning of “Sick,” can be seen from the average score of 3.67, although there were some members of the congregation who were doubt. The Wisma Asri congregation also have a good understanding about the statement meaning of “Savin” can be seen from an average value of 3.56 even though there are still members of the congregation who disagree and doubt but most members understand well. While for the statement meaning of “Raise" can be seen from the average value of 3.46 indicates that the understanding of members of the congregation is quite good. Through this study, data is obtained that overall from several members of the congregation still need a deeper understanding of the concepts that are still in doubt. Based on the questionnaire of research results for statements (P1, P2, P4, P5, P6, P7, P8, P9, P10, P12, P14, P15, P17, P18, P19, P21, P22, P24 and P25), the WismaAsri church have a fairly good understanding, but there are still a number of things statements (P3, P11, P13, P16, P20, P23) that have not been understood by members of the Wisma Asri congregation.
