ABSTRACT “NURSING CARE IN NY.E WITH DIGESTIVE SYSTEM DISORDERS: COLON CANCER IN CEMPAKA 2 SPACE OF ADVENTIST BANDUNG HOSPITAL” Charlie Grace Septine Hutapea 1752027 Colon cancer is the third highest type of cancer in the world and the fourth highest cause of death. The incidence of colon cancer patients begins to increase after the age of 40 years and when patients aged 50 years and over the incidence oof colon cancer sufferers will increase 15 times. The most common problems faced by people with clon cancer are pain, nutrional imbalance activity intolerance, impaired skin integrity and self-image disorders. Writing Scientific Papers aims to conduct nursng care for colon cancer patints in Cempaka 2 Room RSAB, West Java. Based on the results of the assessment, nursing diagnoses that actuallyappear are: Pain associated with continuous tissue damage, nutrional imbalances lacking b/d nausea and vomiting, Intolerance of activity b/d physical weakness. One of the non invasive interventions done is a finger-held technique to reduce pain. And this technique is poven to reduce pain problems experienced by patients but still by providing pharmacological therapy and other interventions. Keywords: Nursing care, colon cancer,Pain.
