ABSTRACT GERONTIC NURSING CARE WITH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF RANGE OF MOTION (ROM) TO Mrs. "H" ON STROKE IN WREDHA BUDI PERTIWI MESRINA SIMBOLON NIM: 1953040 Background: Decreased ability to move muscles in a person's limbs of patients who have had a stroke due to experiencing weakness on one side of the limb. giving twice daily ROM exercises to ischemic stroke patients increases muscle ability more than once a day. Purpose: carry out nursing care on limb weakness with Range of Motions in stroke cases at the Wredha Budi Pertiwi Nursing Home. Method: Writing is done by descriptive method with data collection through the nursing process that is assessment, nursing diagnosis, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Then documented in the form of case reports. Results: the assessment found complaints in the form of weakness in extremities, difficulty walking and hard fingers bent, nursing problems were physical mobility barriers, interventions provided were range of motion ROM, implementation was given ROM every morning and evening, evaluations showed an increase in muscle strength in the extremities and the fingers can be bent. Suggestion: Health workers (nurses), as input for adding insight into the management of clients with stroke. Field of research, as material to be developed in further research on Range of Motion influence on increasing limb muscle strength in stroke patients. In carrying out ROM should be regularly so that training in muscle strength and prognosis that long requires more patience. Clients, in order to do ROM regularly and carry out according to indications to get better results. Keywords: Nursing Care, ROM, Stroke.
