Abstract THEOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF THE WORD "WALKED WITH GOD" BASED ON GENESIS 5:24 IN THE CHURCH OF BEREA KASINDER SEVENTH DAYADVENTIST CHURCH ON SOUTH SIMALUNGUN DISTRICT Wilson Maleakhi Harianja NIM: 1511006 The writing of this thesis was carried out by examining the analysis of the philosophy of the word of life to get along in the Berea Kasinder Seventh Day Adventist Church. The researcher focused on tracing 30 members of the congregation with the intention to find out the extent of their view of the word walked with. Do the church members have a good understanding or not about the word. The fundamental reason for this research being conducted is to analyze the meaning of a case statement based on Genesis 5:24. A word that if only be read at a glance can cause the reader to misunderstand the true meaning that conveyed by the Bible verse. In this case to understand the statement of the word living in the community; (1) the meaning of the word "walked" with God, (2) the meaning of the word "and he was not", (3) the meaning of the word "for God took him". The methodology of this research occurs from data collection techniques, place and time of research, research results from the method, data analysis and the results and discussion of the meaning of the word walked with in the congregation. Based on the results of the study, the writer concluded that the members of the Berea Kasinder congregation understood and had a correct understanding of what it meant and how to be able to walked with God, what does it mean when the Bible say that Enoch is no more, and what does it mean when Bible say that Enoch have been lifted. In this research, writers will give some advices that can help the church member of Berea Kasinder Seventh Day Adventist Church to improve understanding of the church member both individually and as a church about the topic that written in this research. And through the advices that have been given hopefully each member of Berea Kasinder Seventh Day Adventist Church will not understand only the theory but also apply the good example that Enoch had.
