PENGARUH KINERJA CASH RATIO TERHADAP KEBIJAKAN DIVIDEND PADA PERUSAHAAN SUB SEKTOR TELEKOMUNIKASI YANG TERDAFTAR DI BEI 2013-2018

ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF CASH RATIO PERFORMANCE ON DIVIDEND POLICY IN TELECOMMUNICATION SUB SECTOR COMPANIES WERE LISTED ON BEI 2013-2018 Written by: Tomison Sihotang Nim : 1631033 This study aims to determine how the influence of cash ratio on dividend policy in telecommunications sub-sector companies in 2013-2018. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis method. Based on the results of descriptive statistical analysis by the author, it can be seen that the cash ratio has increased and also decreases every year. Likewise, dividend policy in telecommunications sub-sector companies from 30 samples there were 46.7% or 14 findings of a dividend policy in dividend payments and there were 53.5% or 16 data findings having a dividend policy not to pay dividends. From the results of data processing, the correlation coefficient value r = 0.415 means that there is a moderate and positive relationship between Cash Ratio and Dividend Policy. The value of t_count> t_ (table) is 2,414> 2,048 with a significance value of 0.023 <0.05, so it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means there is a significant influence between Cash Ratio and Dividend Policy in the telecommunications sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013- 2018. Judging from the KD = 0.172 which means the contribution of Cash Ratio in influencing changes in Dividend Policy is 17.2% and the remaining 82.8% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Based on simple linear regression analysis Y = 0.028 + 0.959 X which means that if the cash ratio coefficient is 0, then the dividend policy already exists at 0.028 and the cash ratio variable is positive at 0.959 which means that each increase in cash ratio of 1 unit, the dividend policy increases amounted to 0.959.
