ABSTRACT THE EFFCT OF INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY SET ON COMPANY VALUE IN SUBSECTOR AUTOMOTIVE AND COMPONENTS COMPANY LISTED ON THE INDONESIA STOCK EXCHANGE Written By: Mourin Delila NIM: 1632160 The research was conducted with the aims of knowing how the Invesment Opportunity Set, the Company Value, and the effect of Investment Opportunity Set toward Company Value. This research was conducted in Subsector Automotive and Components Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2016-2018 and the sample of selection procedure uses purposive sampling with the number of sample obtained are 30. This research design used descriptive method with quantitative approach. Dependent variable and independent variable measured by the ratio scale. The analytical method used in processing statistical data is simple linear regression include descriptive analysis, assumption test, coefficient of correlation analysis, coefficient of determination analysis, and significant test. The results of this research indicated the Investment Opportunity Set has a positive and significant influence on Company Value with significant value of 0,000. Key Words: Investment Opportunity Set, Firm Value, and Indonesia Stock Exchange.
