ABSTRACT THE TASK OF THE SECRETARY IN HANDLING PERSONAL DATA ARCHIVE OF EMPLOYEE IN THE JAKARTA LOCAL CONFERENCE Written by: Priska Wati Sitorus NIM: 1733005 The purpose of writing in this study is to determine the task of the secretary in handling and managing employee personal data files. An employee's personal data archive is a collection of scripts that are stored systematically because they have uses so that whenever needed they can be quickly recovered. Employee personal data files have an important role in an office, if the records that are owned are not well managed, it can be difficult to find the information that has been stored and ultimately can hamper the next stage of the work process. Therefore it is better if the employee's personal data archive is managed using a good and correct archive management system. The problem in this research is how the implementation of the records management system as well as the obstacles encountered in the implementation of the management system of personal data records of employees at the church office in the seventh day advent conference of DKI Jakarta. Every task carried out by the secretary must be carried out with the best possible effort and manner and with full responsibility so that the implementation of the task produces satisfying results and gives benefits to the leadership and the company, also can improve the quality of the company and the company's image.
