ABSTRACT THE IMPACT OF PROFITABILITY TOWARDS FIRM VALUE AT FINANCING INSTITUTION COMPANIES LISTED ON THEINDONESIA STOCK EXCHANGE 2014-2019 Jeremi Bonar Situmorang NIM: 1632220 This research was conducted to discover the effect of profitability on firm value in financing instition companies sub sector property listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study is using annual report of financial instition companies from year 2014 until 2019.The data used in this research was secondary data from monetery data in Indonesia Stock Exchange official site. This research sample are 5 property Company in Indonesia Stock Exchange, with purposive sampling method. The data pooling method (year 2014-2019) amount of sample are (n) = 30. The data analyzed by using descriptive statistical analysis, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, regression analysis and significance test T. Based on the test results obtained the results of descriptive statistics profitability(gross profit marigin) is 0.58 or 58%, descriptive statistics firm value(Price earning ratio) is 15.59, correlation coefficient r = 0.499, coefficient of determination Kd = 24.9%, regression analysis -62.801, and t-test .005 <0.05 From (gross profit margin to price earnings ratio). Thus profitability has effect negatif on firm value. Which means that Ha was accepted Ho wasrejected. Keywords: Profitability, Firm Value
