ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE AND CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) ON FIRM VALUE AT SUB SECTOR PLASTIC AND PACKAGING COMPANIES LISTED IN BURSA EFEK INDONESIA Written by : Raja Panukkunan Sagala NIM : 1632082 The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of financial performance and corporate social responsibility (CSR) on the firm value. The research object is the entire plastic and packaging companies, amounting to 13 comapnies, but based on the completeness of the data it is only 6 companies sampled by the observation period 2014-2018. The independent variables are corporate performance (Return On Assets), and Corporate Responsibility Social, while the dependent variable is the firm value (Price Book Value). The data used are secondary data and use a ratio scale. The research method used in this research is descriptive analysis, correlation coefficient test, coefficient of detemination test, significance test, classical assumption test, and linear regression test. The results of this study showed that the ROA does not significant effect on firm value, while CSR have a significant effect on firm value, and financial performance and CSR simultaneously affect the value of the company.
