ABSTRACT EFFECT OF EMPLOYEE PLACEMENT AND COMPENSATION ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT PT. PLN (Persero) UNIT INDUK PEMBANGKITAN SOUTH SUMATERA Conducted by: Citra Oktavia Panggabean Nim : 1731001 Employee placement is a thing that greatly affects a company. This research aims to determine the effect of employed placement and compensation on employed performance at PT. PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Pembangkitan South Sumatera based on sample and population. This research uses a causal associative method. This research data was the result of distributing questionnaires to employed of PT. PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Pembangkitan South Sumatera in the Human Resources Department with a purposive sampling method. The results showed that employed placement was in the good category with an average score of 3.75, compensation was in the good category with an average score of 4.10 and employee performance was in the very good category with an average score of 4.21. The results of the partial analysis show that there was a significant influence between employed placement on employed performance with significant value 0.005 and compensation on employed performance with significant value 0,007. The results of the population analysis showed that there was a significant influence between employed placement and compensation on employed performance with a significant value of 0.003> 0.05.
