ABSTRAC ANALYSIS OF THEOLOGICAL UNDERSTANDING AND APPLICATION OF THE CONCEPT "DRAW THE LOT" BASED ON THE BOOK OF ACTS 1:26 IN ELECTION OF CONGREGATES IN THE CHURCH OF SEVENTH DAY ADVENTISTCONGREGATION OF AIR NONA KUPANG Mathias tanii Nim: 1411014 The Seventh-day Adventist Church Organization (SDA), is an organization that has a representative or representative form of government, which recognizes that power in the church rests with church members, and is responsible for carrying out the work assigned to the representative body and to employees to govern the Church to each level. Based on the SDA regulations, a selection of congregation employees is held every one or two years according to the instructions of the church organization. In the selection the authors see there are many practices of deviations of procedures such as the influence and coercion of personal and group will to be done to influence the course of the election. These methods will make the Church the target of Satan to pit sheep against people who are waiting for the Lord's return, so that the fighting will continue from time to time. God wants the members of the church to eliminate the political influences in the congregation, so that members can take part in the togetherness to serve God. The purpose of this study is to obtain a biblical concept regarding the selection by draw lots in the Kupang Air Nona Church based on the book of Acts 1:26. The method used in this research is descriptive and qualitative research methods. Data collected through questionnaires and in-depth interviews are unstructured. The population used in this study were members of the Air Nona Kupang Church. The sample in this study amounted to 124 people. The results showed that there was a relationship between Understanding draw lot and the Application of draw lot with the Benefits of draw lot for the Growth of the Kupang Air Nona Church.
