ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF RAW MATERIAL INVENTORY CONTROL OF THE PRODUCTION PROCESS ON INDONESIA PUBLISHING HOUSE Written by : Defi Indri Yani Sagala NIM : 1632127 This study aims to look at the effect of controlling raw material inventory on the smooth production process at Advent Indonesia Publishers. The data for this study are the results of distributing questionnaires to Advent Indonesia Publisher employees who work in the warehouse, purchasing, maintenance and production sections of 30 respondents. This study uses a questionnaire with 9 indicators and 54 statements. The analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis, correlation coefficient test, determination coefficient test, hypothesis test (t test with ɑ = 0.05) and simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate (1) The Control of raw material inventory has a good statistical interpretation and has been running effectively (2) The smoothness of the production process has a good statistical interpretation and is in the current category (3) The control of raw material inventory has a very strong relationship with the smooth process of production (r=0.805) (4) Raw material inventory control can be explained by 64.8% by the smooth production process, while 35.2% is explained by other factors. (5) Controlling raw material inventory has a significant effect on the smoothness of the production process with a significant value of 0,000 <0.05.
