ABSTRACT EFFECT OF PROFITABILITY RATIO ON CORPORATE VALUES IN PROPERTY & REAL ESTATE SUB SECTOR COMPANIES LISTED ON THE INDONESIAN STOCK EXCHANGE Written by : Fery Rian David S NIM : 1632135 The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of profitability on firm value in property and real estate sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2018. The research method used was an explanatory method with a survey approach. Where the independent variable in this study is profitability, while the dependent variable in this study is the value of the company. The data used in this study came from secondary data by obtaining data from each company in the property and real estate sub-sector listed on the Indonesia stock exchange in 2016-2018. The statistical test used in this study is regression analysis. The sample in this study amounted to 15 companies. The results showed that profitability had a significant effect on firm value with an influence contribution of 66,9% with a correlation level with a positive sign where the higher the profitability, the higher the value of the company.
