ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF CAPITAL STRUCTURE AND PROFITABILITY ON SHARE PRICES (Study on Food and Beverage Sub Sector Manufacturing Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2018-2019) Written by: Yoga Fransiskus Siahaan NIM: 1732036 This study aims to determine the effect of capital structure and profitability on stock prices in food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018 and 2019 partially or simultaneously. This research was conducted using descriptive methods, correlation coefficient analysis, determination test, significance test, classical assumption test, and regression analysis. The data for this study are from published annual financial reports of the food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies. The results of the analysis of this study are partially stating that the capital structure has no significant effect on stock prices but profitability has a significant effect on stock prices. Simultaneously, capital structure and profitability have a significant effect on stock prices. Keywords: capital structure, profitability, stock price.
