ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF CAPITAL ADEQUACY RATIO & LOAN TO DEPOSIT TOWARD RETURN ON ASSET OF BANKING LISTED ON THE INDONESIA STOCK EXCHANGE Written by: Noviane Grace Liasari NIM: 1732145 This study aims to determine the effect of the Capital Adequacy Ratio & Loan to Deposit Ratio on the Return on Assets of Banks Listed on the IDX. Population of 41 banks; and by using purposive sampling technique, 5 banks were selected according to the criteria set by the researcher to be the sample in this study. This research is an associative descriptive study and uses secondary data. The data analysis method used is simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. Before analyzing the data, a classical assumption test was carried out to test the requirements of the analysis consisting of normality test, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity test, and autocorrelation test. Based on the results of the research t test CAR against ROA has a value of 2.893 > 2.05183 and a significance value of 0.007 < 0.05, then the hypothesis which states that CAR has a significant effect on ROA is accepted. The results of the t-test for LDR on ROA have a value of 5.101 > 2.05183 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, so the hypothesis which states that LDR has a significant effect on ROA is accepted. Based on the results of the F test research, it is concluded that CAR & LDR have a simultaneous and significant effect on ROA as evidenced by the F significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The ability to influence the two indicators on ROA is evidenced by the adjusted R2 value of 61.1% and the rest is influenced by factors outside of this study.
