ABSTRACT IMPLEMENTATION OF TRIAGE BY EMERGENCY NURSES IN BANDAR LAMPUNG ADVENTIST HOSPITAL EDWARD JEFFERSON JULIUS NIM: 1451061 Triage is a skill that must be owned by a nurse in the emergency room and triage is one thing that distinguishes nurses in the emergency room with nurses in other treatment rooms. Triage must be done precisely and quickly. The purpose of the triage is to select and classify patients who come to the Emergency Room (ER) and set priorities for treatment. But the triage room is found to be empty, and no nurse did the triage, so the handling given to the patient is less than optimal.This study is to determine the level of triage conducted by the nurses at Bandar Lampung Adventist Hospital. The method used is descriptive analysis by using observation. Sampling was done by total sampling involving all implementing nurses at ER of Bandar Lampung Adventist Hospital. The instruments used are observation sheets based on modified SOP and triage guides. Data were analyzed using percentage formula. The results obtained level of implementation of the triage of 69,05% with the category of implementation of enough. Thus, the nurse needs to improve the triage for the better.
