PENGETAHUAN SISWA-SISWI TENTANG PENYAKIT GASTRITIS SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH PENYULUHAN DI SMAN 1 PARONGPONG

ABSTRACT KNOWLEDGE OF STUDENTS ABAUT GASTRITIS BEFORE AND AFTER COUNSELING AT SMAN 1 PARONGPONG Sherlita Dwi Agusti Hosana NIM: 1651076 The percentage of incidence of gastritis in Indonesia according to WHO (Word Health Organization) in 2009 was 40.8%. The incidence of gastritis in some areas in Indonesia is quite high with the prevalence of 274,396 cases of 238,452,952 people. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge about gastritis disease as early as possible. The design used in this research is purposive sampling method. The sample in this research is 80 people. Data were collected using a questionnaire of 20 questions. And calculated using the mean and paired t-test. The result of the calculation shows the value of the percentage of students' knowledge before counseling with an average of 41 and after counseling with an average score of 60 in the medium category. Then Ha received Ho was rejected significantly at the level of 95% confidence or α = 0.005 Conclusion of the study also showed that there is a significant difference between knowledge before and after counseling about gastritis disease in students SMAN 1 Parongpong.
