ABSTRACT Thesis Title : ANALYSIS OF PERCEPTION OF THE CHURCH SHEPHERDING TOWARD THE NEW BAPTIZED IN Seventh-day Adventist Church CLUSTER II conference WEST JAVA BASED ON JOHN 21:15 Researcher name : Kumpul Manullang Name and title : Master of Philosophy (M.Fil) Supervisor Matter: Dr. B.D. Nainggolan, MPS Date of Complet : 25 April 2016 The comprehension of the Church in 2nd Cluster of West Java Conference based on John 21:15. Keywords: comprehension, application and effect of grazing for the maintenance and growth of souls, especially the newly baptized. Chapter one is the background of this study is the open of the back church door, so many members of the newly baptized found that "the church kitchen empty" and being disappointed and not maintained. Start from these concerns so it is important for the church to make the analysis of comprehension of shepherding church members based on John 21:15 grazing on the command of God to shepherd God's flock. The second chapter explains that the book of John 21:15 states the message / command the Lord is the flock, it became the theoretical basis for understanding the analysis of shepherding the newly baptized members based on Jhon 21:15. Chapter three is about the research methodology implemented in the Cluster II Conference Seventh-day Adventists in West Java, which includes seven churches with the number of 134 people from 453 people, who have been baptized. The method used in this research is quantitative research and data collection tools used in the form of a questionnaire to measure the variable understanding of the church members penggebalaan based on John 21:15. Chapter four is the research results through testing that has been done that the grains statements amounted to 20 grains of all valid based R table, so it can be used for research. Test reliability is expressed as a moderate and normal berdata normality test or trustworthy, hypothesis testing results reach 68.4% this proves that the perception of Seventh-day Adventists Church, West Java Cluster II Conference on grazing against a member of the newly baptized terms of the Gospel of John 21:15 high. Chapter five is based on the results of research both in the field and biblically, expected the church to understand and realize that the sense of sacrificial love is indispensable in shepherding. KPA needs to be made for members of the newly baptized so that the perceived level of Seventh-day Adventists Church, West Java Cluster II Conference on the pastoral ministry of the members of the newly baptized terms of the Gospel of John 21:15 is increasing.
