PENGETAHUAN TENTANG PENYAKIT CAMPAK PADA USIA PRODUKTIF DI KELOMPOK IBADAH NARIPAN KECAMATAN SUMUR BANDUNG KOTA BANDUNG

ABSTRACT KNOWLEDGE ABOUT MEASLES DISEASE OF PRODUCTIVE AGES IN NARIPAN’S WORSHIP GROUP KECAMATAN SUMUR BANDUNG KOTA BANDUNG HENSON MALON MARINUS SIHOMBING NIM:1551075 Despite high measles vaccination rates, measles cases still increase in number in Bandung. It was found that there was an increase around 58.72% in 2015 compared to the year before which is 266 cases. Mostly cases of measles can be found in Kecamatan Sumur Bandung. The primary purpose of this study was to measure the knowledge of productive ages about measles disease in Naripan worship’s group, Kecamatan Sumur Bandung, Kota Bandung. Survey method was used in this study which is one of the method in collecting data. The respondents were selected by purposive sampling and thirty respondents was selected in Naripan’s Worship Group, Kecamatan Sumur Bandung, Bandung. The result is that there are significance influence of age, gender, level of education, and occupation to the knowledge of the respondents. Based on the findings, age and level of education have the important role in influencing the knowlegde of the respondents. The findings revealed that the knowledge of the respondents was enough, or 57.2%. This showed the lack of knowlegde that was possesed by the respondents. This recommendation stated in this research were made for Naripan’s worship group. In order to increase their knowledge about measles disease, they need another health seminar to explain furher more about measles. For nursing field is to conduct health promotion about measles disease prevention, and for future research on the same topic as a reference to support the research. Keywords: Measles, Knowledge
