ABSTRACT THE CORRELATION OF PARENTING STYLE AND BULLYING BEHAVIOR TOWARD TEENAGER AT MIDDLE JUNIOR HIG SCHOOL LAB SCHOOL UNAI Suy Grace Hariati Nainggolan NIm : 1351057 Bullying behavior is constitute of someone’s behavior that considered weaker, physically or verbal hurting. One of factor that cause bullying behavior is parenting style toward the teenagers. Parenting syle is the relation between parents and children on teaching then life value/virtues in giving, loving and also helping children to develop physically, mentally, socially and spiritually.This research aims to know the correlation of parenting style and bullying behavior toward student at SMP Lab School UNAI.we use correlation descriptive as our research method. We use sampling method and the population and the sample in this research are students and the parents of the students SMP Lab School UNAI with total of 42 respondens. To collect the datas we use questionnaire which consist of 13 questions. We use persentage formula and follow with the correlation technique. The result shows parenting style is good and bullying behavior towards teenager at SMP Lab School UNAI is low. The correlation shows there are no significant value between parenting style and bullying behavior toward teenager at SMP Lab School UNAI. From this research, we hope that the parents is more attentive towards their children behavior at the school, we hope the children could lessen bullying behavior by listening and practicing advises from their parents and teachers, to school we hope that they teach more the lesson of moral value to remind the children about their behavior.
