ABSTRACT NURSING CARE FOR CHILD H: POST APPENDECTOMY TECHNIQUES WITH PAIN MANAGEMENT IN THE HOUSE PEDIATRIC ROOM ADVENT SORTS BANDUNG Hutri Olivia Assa, S. Kep NIM: 1653064 Appendicitis is an inflammation caused by infection of the appendix or the worm uk caused by bacteria and its triggering factor caused by an appendix lumen obstruction. This infection requires immediate surgery to prevent complications. The action taken in most cases of appendicitis is apendectomy. Appendectomy is a surgical procedure to remove the appendix to reduce the risk of perforation. Surgery is performed resulting in painful effects on the wound area of the surgery resulting in an uncomfortable condition for postoperative patients. In this case pain management is necessary to reduce or reduce pain. One of the pain management that can be done is non pharmacology therapy by using deep breath relaxation technique. The deep breathing relaxation technique can decrease physiological tension and decrease pain. In getting the effect of breath relaxation in children who experience pain can be done with a combination of play activities, namely with games associated with breathing such as blowing bubbles with a straw, blowing balloons and propellers. According to research conducted Syamsuddin in 2015 at the Hospital in Banda Aceh, breathing deep breathing therapy by playing blowing vane paper is very effective used to reduce pain in children during surgical wound care. Based on the above, the author performs nursing care on An. H: post apendectomy with pain management in Pediatric Room of Advent Bandung Hospital.
