BSTRACT INFLUENCE THE SEED MAHOGANY ( switenia mahagoni jacq ) OF BLOOD PRESSURE STUDENTS PATIENTS PRAHIPERTENSI AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ADVENTIST INDONESIA MELIVA OVALIN RAKMENI 1051128 Researchers interested talk about prahipertensi in students, who have blood pressure early 120-130 mmhg in a university dormitory adventists indonesia , west bandung. The seeds mahogany ( switenia mahagoni jacq ) having content that can be lowered blood pressure , namely flavonoid and saponin.Of this study is to find the influence of blood pressure before and after having the seeds mahogany ( switenia mahagoni jacq) in blood pressure students patients prahipertensi at the university of adventists indonesia , west bandung . Metode used in this research is the method pre experiment with one group pretest- posttest design . A population that used in this research is a male patients prahipertensi at the university of adventists indonesia , west bandung . Sample used were 15 people . An instrument used in this research was a measuring instrument blood pressure a sphygmomanometer and stethoscope used for measuring blood pressure before and after consumption the seeds mahoni. results of the research showed that the average blood pressure patients before consumption the seeds mahogany by one gr / capsule namely 124,67 / 86 mmHg and interpreted as blood pressure parhipertensi . After the intervention the average blood pressure penederita namely 98 / 67,33 mmHg and interpreted as normal blood pressure . A decline in pressure significant before and after the provision of the seeds mahogany . Influence to the field of research that data used a baseline develop research the following about influence blood pressure before and after the provision of the seeds mahogany .
