Based on the assessment, Mr. S came to Bandung Adventist Hospital caused by severe burns 2nd degree with 75% area, which are on the face, neck, chest, abdomen, both hands and both feet, nose and eyebrows are burning. Nursing diagnoses that arise are the risk of ineffectiveness of the airway and the risk of fluid volume deficiency, and followed by the diagnosis of painful comfort disorders and the risk of hypothermia. The Interventions that has been given are fluid resuscitation, corticosteroid’s drug treatment and analgesics. The risk of hypothermia is overcome by giving heating lamps and extra blankets. After being given the nursing intervention and the results are the pain had been decreased, the airway remains in an effective state, there were no sign of Hypovolemic shock, and the patient still felt cold without shivering. Based on these results it can be concluded that the intervention has not been fully successful, so it is necessary to maintain the intervention so that the goal of nursing care is achieved.
