ABSTRACT Adventist University of Indonesia (UNAI) are still using human visual identification techniques in student worship attendance record at dormitory. With such identification technique, UNAI campus dormitory find problems in defense to attendance data originality, also slow to reporting. So it is very necessary to UNAI to implement the use of identification technology using fingerprint. Things to be done in this research are search for fingerprint machine, designing a database, and create a web-based application that supports the administration of worship attendance data in UNAI dorm. This system is expected to help ease the administration of worship attendance data in UNAI dorm. Fingerprint machines will be placed in each dorm’s worship room, and perform fingerprint identification every worship. Each device connected to the server using the switch, then the attendance log will be taken for processing into students attendance data. Based on its date and time, the Attendance Logs data separate into different student attendance data. By using the looping function, then the system will calculate the number of absences for reporting. Dormitory attendance administration system using fingerprint at UNAI help to record, edit, delete, and reporting which will show the number of students absent clear. Students can also view the reports of personal attendance at the students module which already used by the campus now. Administration system of worship attendance data with fingerprint for dormitory help reduce the risk of human error and ease the dormitories employee job, as well as save time in reporting.
