ABSTRACT Thesis Title : ANALYSIS THE SPIRITUAL GROWTH OF SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH MEMBERS IN BOHABAK AREAS BASED ON DANIEL’S SPIRITUAL COMPETENCY IN THE BOOK OF DANIEL . Researcher Name: Eddy Andow Tangka Name and Title : Master Philosophy (M.Fil) Supervisor : Dr. B.D. Nainggolan, MPS End Date : 04 Mei 2017 This message of life from Daniel becomes one of the good examples for the spiritual growth of the members of the congregation. A godly lifestyle made Daniel a friend of God. The book of John 16:15 say "you are my friends, if you do what I command you." This surrendered pattern of life eventually led Daniel to be one of the best. God's blessing made Daniel a successful and influential person among the smart people among his contemporaries. Chapter one, the growth of membership and spirituality of church members from time to time, shows a very significant growth. The evangelization is accompanied by the power of God shed to the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The evangelization of this church is accompanied by the perseverance of the evangelist through evangelism that lifts the pattern of life of simplicity, a healthy lifestyle based on the Word of God, biblical doctrine and the integrity of life or the quality of the ordinances of life pleasing to God. The development of church growth in the Bohabak region is a manifestation of the intimacy of fellowship and members of the congregation of the moral burden of the soul to the Lord in the accompanying prayers and lifestyle of God's people. It turns out in recent years, the last five years. From 2012 to 2017 in the pattern of life surrendered to God, Adventist Church members in the Bohabak Region are consciously rarely held unless there is a program or appeal from the pastor of the congregation and the leaders of Bolaang Mongondow Modoinding and Gorontalo (BMG) Regions through the service Revival, plans for local church building projects, upgrading of BMG and middle-to-end events that require volunteer support from members of the congregation, both morale and fundraisers. The irony is that the messenger of health reform to many people, it is actually the carrier of the message has not implemented or animated what is told to the public. Community service at the village level down to the District is a matter of great concern about the faith integrity of members of the congregation often sacrificed for the duties and responsibilities provided by the government. Chapter two, the purpose of this study is first, to find out whether members of the congregation understand about the pattern of surrendering life through personal prayer based on Daniel's lifestyle. Second, to know how the congregation's understanding of the implementation of a healthy lifestyle through healthcare reform. Thirdly to know the impact of the integrity of the members of the congregation affects personal, family and congregational spirituality. Fourth, to know how much the relationship of members of the congregation with God based on the pattern of life that obedient Daniel worship. The division of the writings of the language of the book of Daniel is: Hebrew is used in Daniel 1: 1-2: 4a and 8: 1-12: 13. The Aramaic language is found in Daniel 2: 4b and 7:28. The message is for the world (general) and there is also special for the people of God (the people of Israel). Indeed, the author of the book of Daniel is God himself, as are other books or letters in the Bible. 2 Timothy 3:16 says "All Scripture that is inspired of God is worthy to teach, to declare mistakes, to correct behavior and to educate people in righteousness." Chapter three, the research method used in this thesis research is quantitative research. The approach is explanatory- Confirmatory, namely the type of survey. Quantitative research is a study conducted through measuring instruments using objective and standard instruments, which meet the high standards of validity and reliability and continued with statistical analysis, so the results can give meaning. Survey research is a study used in large and small populations, but the data used are data from samples as representative of the population to find relative, distributive, and relationship events among variables studied, using questionnaires. The object of this study is 30% of the entire study population. This study population is congregation Pangi the number of members 35 people, congregation Mome number of members 20 people, Bohabak congregation of the number of members 47 people and Mokoditek Church the number 22 members. The total population is 124 people population properties used are homogeneous populations, both men and women, young elderly who are registered as members who have been baptized and active in church. Chapter four, completing and preparing the members of the congregation to be fully human beings characterized by (four) indicators, namely: (a) God's primary priority competence, (b) the competence of having a life of prayer, (c) firm competence in personal principles, and (d) Diligent competence to worship God. Measurements are made with Likert Scale with 5 (five) alternative answers, range of scale from 1 to 5. Statistical analysis using anova. Analysis is needed to determine whether data analysis for testing can proceed or not. Some data analysis techniques require test requirements analysis. Variant analysis requires that data come from normally distributed populations and groups that are homogeneous. Therefore, variant analysis requires validity, reliability, normality, linearity, hypothesis and descriptive statistics. The number of respondents who have filled out questionnaires from 1-28 points about 37 people. Chapter five, conclusions in this study include the firstly, the congregation has not fully set aside a special time to fellowship with God in prayer, even though my activities and work are very solid, it shows that the level of prioritizing God as the main members of the BAHABAK SDA church is still low. Secondly, Church does not fully attune to personal prayer on a definite schedule, this is the cause of the lack of faith and the relationship of members of the BAHABAK Church of Bohabak to God through personal prayer has become a pattern of life. Thirdly, the congregation is not happy to eat vegetarian food, when they believe it is a healthy food, it shows that the moral integrity of members of the BAHABAK MAHK church in connection with the principles of healthy lifestyles in personal principles, has not been applied in life. Fourthly, the moral competence of the members of the congregation concerning the spiritual needs of the members of the BAHABAK SDA church in worshiping God is seen that if the presence of worship is not an obligation, the congregation is not yet fully fixed to attend regular worship and the congregation is not yet fully convinced that attending regular worship is a longing They are the deepest. The suggestion in this research is to improve the member's understanding that God is the source of strength and inspiration in every aspect of life, so that the congregation prioritizes God as the main member of the BAHABAK SDA church. The congregation should not only be grateful to God when every request of the church is granted, but also the congregation must always set aside special time to fellowship with God in prayer, even if the activities and work are very solid. The congregation not only believes that with God's help they can control lust in the midst of the trials of the world, but also the congregation must serve in worship activities, and will do it with joy as an expression of gratitude to God for His great love The congregation must conduct family worship and prayer of surrender so that the morale of the members of the congregation concerns the spiritual needs of members of the BOHABAK SDA church in terms of worshiping God is increasing.
