ABSTRACT Telecommunication technology has now become a tool that is widely utilized disseminate the views and information in the various fields of one of them in the field of education. That requires a medium to deliver information quickly, easily and cheaply in order to convey information to the user information. SMS ( Short Messaging Services ) is a mobile telecommunications technology service facilities are very much used today, and can meet the needs of consumers. In the world of education, school YPAB one media system requires information to deliver information to parents, therefore it takes the SMS service as an information system that can send student test scores to parents. With this SMS-based system built to facilitate information so that parents know the progress their children and cooperate with the school to develop student achievement. The system uses SMS Broadcast or are one way, which means that the school will send the information value of each time students take the exam. The study was conducted based on the data of students from the school administration. The system is built using Wavecom modem, SIM card and a GSM carrier using Gammu as a connecting tool.
