PERBEDAAN TINGKAT KEPUASAN PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS TERHADAP PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN DENGAN ALAT BANTU LEAFLET DAN TABLET DI RUMAH SAKIT ADVENT BANDUNG

ABSTRACT Based on the observation during the clinical practice of nursing 5 on August 18 to September 25, 2015 that the measurement of patient satisfaction with the provision of leaflets Penkes with tools and tablet RSA has never been done in Bandung, the researchers are interested in doing this research. This study was conducted to determine differences in the level of patient satisfaction with DM to health education leaflets tools and tablet Bandung Adventist Hospital. The method in this research is quasi-experimental with post test only non equivalent control group design. The sample in this study were 30 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus hospitalized in Bandung Adventist Hospital, selected by purposive sampling. These results indicate an average level of satisfaction after the treatment group was given health education with tools using leaflets is 4.08 category are satisfied. The results of the study control group the average value level of satisfaction after being given health education with tools using a tablet is 4.27 including the category of very satisfied. Statistical test results if the probability 0.394> 0.05 then Ho is accepted. If the probability <0.05 then Ho is rejected. For two-sided test, then the value of α / 2 = 0.025 so that the test criteria becomes: if the probability 0.394> 0.025 then Ho is accepted. It is concluded that there was no significant difference in the level of satisfaction of patients with DM group against Penkes with tools using leaflets and satisfaction level of the group DM patients Penkes with tools tablet. Based on the results of this study are expected to nurses and other health professionals always use the tools in providing Penkes to clients.
