ABSTRACT THE RELATIONSHIP OF PATIENT FALL PREVENTION INFORMATION ON RISK FALL PATIENT’S COMPLIANCE IN ADULT INPATIENT ROOM OF ADVENTIST BANDUNG HOSPITAL Ramay Ginting ID: 1351096 Hospitals are health facilities that used by the community to overcome and alleviate health problems. Various reports indicate that the incidence of falling patients is still found in various hospitals. Nurses as professionals who interact more frequently with clients have become one of the factors that influence the incidence of falling patients. This study was conducted to determine the relationship of patient fall prevention information on risk fall patient’s compliance in adult inpatent room of Adventist Bandung Hospital (ABH). The method used is descriptive correlation with a sample of 30 adult patients selected by purposive sampling. Measurement of adherence are done by an observation sheet compiled based on the patient fall risk prevention information questionnaire. This study found that nurses in the adult inpatient room of ABH had delivered patient fall risk prevention information clearly, while the risk fall patients adherence to was interpreted less. The Separman Rank correlation test found that there was no significant relationship of patient fall risk prevention information on risk fall patient’s compliance in adult inpatent room of ABH (r value: 0.081 and p value > 0.05). Suggestions given related to the results of this study to the Nursing Training of RSAB and nurses is to increase the quality of interaction, especially in terms of providing information on prevention of risk patients falling so that the level of patient compliance increases. Suggestions in the field of research so that the data in this study can be developed into other studies related to factors that influence patient compliance with the risk of falling to preventive information on patients at risk of falls.
